Our commitment to you and your FloatMASTER system
We stand behind our products and want you to have a great experience with FloatMASTER. This page outlines our warranty coverage, what to expect from the monitoring service, and important terms of use. Please review this information before using your FloatMASTER system.
FloaTek Technologies warrants FloatMASTER products against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for the periods specified below, starting from your original purchase date.

Warranty Coverage: If your product has a covered defect, we will, at our discretion: repair it, replace it with new or refurbished parts, or refund your purchase price. This is your sole remedy under this warranty.
To Make a Claim: Email support@floatek.ca with your Device ID, proof of purchase, and a description of the issue. We’ll troubleshoot remotely first, then arrange repair or replacement if needed.
This warranty does not cover damage or failure resulting from:

• Lightning strikes or electrical surges
• Power fluctuations or outages • Extreme temperatures beyond rated specs • Water damage from improper sealing • Flood, fire, or natural disasters |
Usage Factors
• Accidental damage, drops, or misuse
• Improper installation • Unauthorized modifications or repairs • Use with incompatible equipment • Normal wear and tear |
The FloatMASTER cloud dashboard and email alert service is provided to enhance your monitoring experience. By using this service, you acknowledge:
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted service availability
• Maintenance downtime may occur periodically
• Service features and pricing may change with reasonable notice
• Email delivery depends on third-party providers and your spam settings
• Internet connectivity issues are beyond our control
We strive to maintain reliable service but cannot guarantee 100% uptime or delivery of all notifications.
Your primary alarm system consists of the LED lights and buzzers on both your Transmitter and Receiver units. These function independently of internet connectivity and provide immediate on-site alerts.
The dashboard and email alerts are secondary notification methods. Do not rely solely on remote notifications.
FloatMASTER is designed as a monitoring aid to supplement — not replace — regular maintenance of your septic system, pumps, and water management equipment.
FloatMASTER products contain electronic and mechanical components that, like all such devices, can fail. We’ve designed our system to be as reliable as possible, but no monitoring system can guarantee detection of all conditions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• This includes property damage, cleanup costs, lost profits, or other losses arising from product use or failure
• These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory (contract, tort, negligence, etc.)
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.

What happens when your Premium subscription ends?

Note: Basic dashboard access is included at no extra cost. Your device continues to function locally regardless of online service availability.
FloaTek Technologies provides online dashboard and monitoring services as value-added features to enhance your FloatMASTER experience. Please understand the following:
Service Availability
- Online services (dashboard, email alerts, SMS notifications) are provided as a convenience and are not guaranteed
- We intend to maintain these services long-term but cannot promise perpetual availability
- Services may be modified, updated, or improved over time
- We will provide reasonable notice (minimum 90 days) before discontinuing core services
Your Device Always Works
Regardless of online service availability, your FloatMASTER hardware continues to function independently:
- Local LED status indicators remain operational
- 85dB audible alarm buzzer continues to function
- LoRa wireless communication between Transmitter and Receiver is unaffected
- Auxiliary relay output operates normally
- OLED displays show real-time status
Important
The FloatMASTER system is designed so that core alarm functionality never depends on internet connectivity or cloud services. Online features enhance your experience but are not required for the device to protect your property. This is intentional — we believe your safety shouldn’t depend on our servers.
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your data.
