Troubleshooting
Receiver won’t connect to WiFi
Ensure you’re using 2.4 GHz (not 5 GHz). Hold button 5-10 seconds for setup mode. Look for “FloatMasterAP” network.
Dashboard shows “Offline” or no data
Verify Receiver has power and green LED. Check internet connection. Transmitter may be out of range — test with units closer together.
Not receiving email alerts
Verify email addresses in dashboard settings. Check spam folder. Add alerts@floatek.ca to contacts. Confirm subscription is active.
Battery draining quickly
Check for obstructions reducing LoRa signal. Cold weather temporarily reduces capacity. Consider adding solar panel ($62).
False alarms triggering
Check float switch wiring and mounting. Ensure floats move freely. Verify correct HIGH/LOW mode selected in dashboard.
Factory reset procedure
Hold button 15+ seconds until LED flashes rapidly. WiFi settings cleared, returns to setup mode.
